    I purchased JBL flip 5 speakers from your outlet located at Al Wadha Mall, Abu Dhabi on 16th April 2022 (Day before yesterday).

    I came home and checked that the Zoom application is not working on JBL speakers when I am connecting it to my Samsung Tablet and my mobile phones. The same application is working in JBL Flip 4. I was surprised and took the new speaker back to your showroom to show it to your sales team on 15th April 2022 (Yesterday night). They also checked and the same was not working.

    I wanted this speaker so I went to Harman House shop which is located on the same floor of Al Wadha Mall and asked them. They informed me to check with their technician in the Dubai service center. Today morning I called them and they told me that the microphone is not installed in Flip 5 therefore it will not work.

    I had informed your sales team on 15th April 2022 night that if it is not working this speaker is useless for me and I have purchased it for a particular purpose.

    When today afternoon I went to your outlet to return the speaker, I was informed by Mr. Mohammed Ali (Sales Person) that once it is opened, it cannot be returned. I was surprised to hear that as no one told me that yesterday night when I said “I will have to return if the Zoom app is not connected to it”.

    Please note that I did not use this speaker as Zoom is not connecting it. Mr. Mohammed Ali argued with me that all the terms and conditions are mentioned on the invoice, however, I received a bill after paying money for this speaker. Also, no one had informed us that they will not take it back once it is opened.

    I am a regular customer as I have purchased many items for personal use as well as for friends and relatives. The behavior and policy is surprising that you cannot take an item back or exchange once it is open??? How will the customer know it is working or not without testing??? “Please note that I have just opened and tested, not used this item”.

    This is a really disappointing incident and if it is not possible to return with Jumbo, why should someone come to you??? We can buy such items online, where the same is available at discounted rates.

    I have attached a copy of the invoice for your reference and I would request your support in this matter.
