YEAR OF ZAYED ART EXHIBIT AT PARK ROTANA ABU DHABI, DUBAI 2018.

Park Rotana Abu Dhabi is celebrating the Year of Zayed with art exhibit of Abu Dhabi based artist, Annabelle Smith Bigno. The art exhibit will host an opening ceremony on October 30, 2018.

The exhibit will showcase different paintings about Abu Dhabi, its landmarks and history as well as the UAE heritage brought about by the leadership of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father.

About Park Rotana Abu Dhabi

Over 25 paintings will be on exhibit in various areas of the hotel featuring artistic paintings creatively done around the Year of Zayed theme by the French/Scottish artist, Annabelle Smith Bigno.

Describing her upcoming solo exhibit, she explains“The Year of Zayed Art Exhibit at Park Rotana is an event I am truly excited about. This is a platform to showcase Abu Dhabi beyond its skyscrapers and modern infrastructure. I aim to portray our stunning city and the way it is built at the gates of incredible natural beauty – the desert and sea. The exhibit will feature my personal creative impressions of Abu Dhabi, its landmarks and history as well as the UAE heritage brought about by the leadership of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE.”

In line with the hotel’s initiatives to promote the hotel as an event venue for arts and culture, this is the third art exhibit happening in the hotel. The exhibit is open to the public during the entire period.

About Annabelle Smith Bigno: 
Annabelle is born and raised in Scotland of French and Scottish parents and have lived, painted and exhibited work in Oman, Venezuela, France, the US and the UAE from 2001 to 2018. Years spent living in Europe, Oman, Venezuela, the USA and the UAE has infused her painting with a diversity of inspirations, colours, lights and styles. During her 3 years at the Glassell School of Arts in Houston, Texas she was able to sharpen her skills in inks, watercolor and acrylics. Her art is inspired by the interconnection of subject with surrounding energy and flow. A place beyond the world of noisy human thought.
